A rare high proof expression from Tequila Ocho, the pioneer of single estate tequila. Crafted from fully mature blue Weber agave grown on a specific Highland estate in Jalisco, this Reposado is aged in former American whiskey barrels and bottled undiluted at true barrel proof of 101.
Traditional production methods define the spirit: brick oven cooked agave, wild yeast fermentation and double distillation in copper pot stills, with no additives. The result is an intense yet balanced tequila that puts the pure agave character and unique terroir front and center.
On the nose, expect roasted agave, baking spices, light wood, herbal notes and a touch of floral complexity. The palate delivers rich cooked agave, caramel, dark chocolate, peach and white pepper with a creamy texture. The finish is long and warming, with lingering spice, oak and clean agave sweetness.
