The 26th annual limited release of Old Forester Birthday Bourbon, created to honor the birthday of founder George Garvin Brown. This expression was barreled in 2015 and aged for 11 years on the third floor of Warehouse B, the oldest rickhouse at the Brown Forman Distillery in Shively, Kentucky. Selected from 212 barrels and bottled at 97 proof.

A slightly lower barrel entry proof of 124.4 contributed to its sweet and fruity character. The nose opens with ginger, baking spice, honey, caramel and a touch of cherry. On the palate, warm honey and buttery caramel meet tobacco, mature oak and bright cherry. The finish is balanced and lingering, with toasted oak, graham cracker and gentle spice.

A classic, well aged Kentucky Straight Bourbon that continues the tradition of one of the most anticipated annual releases in American whiskey.
