Kilchoman Machir Bay is a peated single malt matured in a high proportion of bourbon barrels with a touch of oloroso sherry casks. Named after Islay’s most spectacular beach, it balances classic maritime peat with fresh floral complexity. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, it opens with lemon zest, vanilla and coastal notes that give way to peaches, pears and rich spices. The palate brings tropical fruit, dried sultanas, warming smoke, honey, malt and butterscotch sweetness. The finish is long with sherry-soaked fruit, cracked black pepper, sea salt and lingering maritime peat.
