Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2024 is a highly limited Indian single malt whisky crafted from peated Indian six-row barley and distilled in traditional copper pot stills. The whisky is matured in Northern India’s subtropical climate and drawn from carefully selected PX Sherry casks, creating a distinctive combination of gentle peat smoke, rich dried fruit, sherry sweetness, oak, and warm spice. Bottled at a robust 58.5% ABV, this collector’s release offers remarkable intensity and complexity while maintaining a balanced, elegant character. Each edition celebrates the spirit and artistry of Diwali and showcases the distinctive character of Indian single malt whisky.

Taste Notes:

The nose offers gentle, well-integrated peat smoke and elegant Sherry aromas, with notes of dates, raisins, caramel and earthy undertones. On the palate, it is subtly sweet and fruity with a rich malty character, gentle peat, oak, tannins and soft spice, accompanied by hints of sweetness and saltiness. The finish is elegant, balanced and lingering, with the smoky and sherry-driven character continuing pleasantly.

Food Pairings:

Pairs particularly well with smoked and grilled meats, roasted duck, barbecue dishes, rich cheeses, dark chocolate desserts, dried fruits and nut-based desserts. Its smoky peat and rich Sherry character also complement slow-cooked beef, lamb and savory dishes with warm spices.
