The 2018 limited edition from Hennessy, this iconic X.O cognac pays tribute to a cherished House tradition that began in 1870, when Maurice Hennessy created the first "Extra Old" cognac for his family and friends. Inspired by the play of light, acclaimed designer Marc Newson returned to the X.O decanter for a second collaboration, finishing it in a subtle gold with hues of rose. Curved striations catch the light and reveal the warm shades of the blend, and a modern gift box completes the presentation.
Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), it delivers the deep, powerful character Hennessy X.O is known for. The aroma offers rich dried fruit and candied orange peel with inviting spices. On the palate it is full and layered, with dark chocolate, warm spice and toasted oak. The finish is long, velvety and lingering.
