Located near Denver, Golden Moon was established with a dual mission: to honor the traditions of single malt whisky (with roots in Scotland) while expressing the unique character of Colorado’s climate, water, and altitude.
From its inception, Golden Moon has committed to full transparency in distillation and maturation: grinding and mashing its own malted barley, using mountain-fed water, and aging in new American oak barrels. The distillery embraces a “grain-to-glass” philosophy, meaning they carefully control every step of production so that the final spirit truly represents the local terroir.
