About the brand

Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. is a prestigious line within the Buffalo Trace Distillery portfolio, named after the "Founding Father of the Modern Bourbon Industry." Taylor was a visionary who advocated for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. While most E.H. Taylor expressions are Bottled-in-Bond (100 proof), the Barrel Proof release is the "beast" of the family. It is crafted in small batches using Buffalo Trace’s Mash Bill #1 (low rye) and aged in the century-old brick and limestone warehouses Taylor himself built.
