Blanton’s Gold Edition

Nose: Heavy tobacco, honey, and spicy rye, followed by citrus and dried oak.

Palate: A complex mix of dark fruit (plum/cherry), honey, and rye grain, supported by a creamy vanilla base.

Finish: Harmonious and long, with lingering notes of charred oak and black pepper.

Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel

Nose: Bold dark chocolate, toasted walnuts, and deep caramel with an earthy, leathery undertone.

Palate: Extremely rich and viscous. You’ll find burnt sugar, butterscotch, and heavy wood spice, balanced by a deep, dark honey sweetness.

About the brand

Introduced in 1984 by Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee, it was named in honor of Colonel Albert B. Blanton, who served the distillery for over 50 years. He was known for hand-selecting "honey barrels" from the center of Warehouse H to serve to his personal guests.
