Angel's Envy Cellar Collection Series Volume 5 is a limited-edition Straight Rye Whiskey created for whiskey enthusiasts and collectors seeking an unconventional cask-finished expression. The rye whiskey is aged for approximately 6.5 to 7 years before being finished for up to 12 months in rare French oak Extra Añejo tequila barrels that previously held Patrón tequila for four years. The finished whiskey is blended with an 11-year-old rye component, creating a layered profile that combines bold rye spice with herbal agave character, fruit, oak, and warming baking spices. About the brand

Angel's Envy was founded in Louisville, Kentucky, by Bourbon Hall of Fame Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson and his son Wes Henderson. The brand is known for pioneering secondary finishing, in which whiskey is matured in traditional oak before being transferred to carefully selected finishing casks to develop additional layers of flavor and complexity. Angel's Envy continues this tradition under Master Distiller Owen Martin, with innovative bourbon and rye releases produced at its Louisville distillery.
