A vibrant and multi layered Napa Valley red blend crafted by next generation winemakers Carlo Trinchero and Josh Phelps. This 2019 release brings together 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Zinfandel, 17% Merlot, 7% Malbec, 7% Pinot Noir and a touch of other varieties for a distinctive and approachable expression of the valley.
Deep garnet in color, the wine opens with aromas of tobacco, baking spice and cassis. On the palate it delivers ripe blackberry, dark cherry, plum and pomegranate, framed by plush tannins and a full yet balanced structure. The finish is lengthy and satisfying, with lingering fruit and subtle spice.
An excellent everyday Napa red that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, ribs or smoked pork. Drink now or hold for a few more years.
