- Nose Bright and "waxy." You will find notes of under-ripe mango, green bananas, and white chocolate, followed by a peculiar but pleasant lactic funk (like vanilla yogurt) and a hint of fresh pine needles.
- Palate Intense and oily. It opens with honey-glazed pears and pineapple tart, transitioning into a mid-palate of marzipan, white pepper, and ginger. Because of the high proof, the tropical fruits feel "concentrated" rather than light.

About the brand
Fettercairn Distillery was founded in 1824 and is famous for its unique copper cooling rings which sit around the neck of the stills. These rings drench the outside of the copper with cold mountain water causing the heaviest vapors to condense and fall back into the still for re-distillation. This process creates an exceptionally light and fruity spirit that is often described as having a tropical or exotic character. While the distillery is owned by Whyte and Mackay and contributes heavily to blends independent bottlers like Single Cask Nation are the only way to experience this spirit without dilution or heavy filtration. Single Cask Nation is known for selecting barrels that highlight the "hidden" side of a distillery often choosing casks that show more muscle and texture than the official bottles.
