Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select is the premium, "top-shelf" expression of the world-famous Tennessee whiskey brand. Unlike the standard Old No. 7, which is a blend of hundreds of barrels to ensure a consistent taste, the Single Barrel is bottled from just one unique barrel. Only about 1 in 100 barrels is deemed worthy by the Master Distiller to be set aside for this collection. These barrels are typically tucked away in the highest reaches of the barrel houses, where the extreme temperature shifts cause the whiskey to interact more deeply with the wood.
