About the product
The Cambio Tequila Añejo is a high-end, barrel-driven tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Aged for up to 22 months in a mix of French oak and Cognac casks, it goes beyond traditional añejo aging, developing a deeper, more layered profile.
This expression is additive-free, relying entirely on agave quality, fermentation, and barrel influence to build character. The use of different oak types and casks gives it a hybrid style that bridges classic tequila with notes more commonly found in aged whiskey or cognac.
Tasting Profile & Food Pairings
Tasting Notes
Opens with toasted oak, vanilla, and caramel layered over cooked agave. The palate is rich and rounded, showing butterscotch, honey, and light chocolate, followed by dried fruit and subtle grape-like notes from the Cognac cask influence. Mid-palate brings warm spice such as cinnamon and clove, with a gentle peppery edge. The finish is long, smooth, and slightly dry, with lingering oak, sweet spice, and refined agave.
