About the product
A limited edition release from Tequila Ocho, this single estate añejo joins the highlands of Jalisco with the cognac tradition of Charente, France. It is the third collaboration between Tequila Ocho and Ferrand Cognac, built on a shared respect for terroir and craft. Carlos Camarena, a fifth generation agave grower, represents Ocho, and Ferrand brings ten generations of cognac making led by master blender Alexandre Gabriel.
Made from 100% Blue Weber agave grown on a single field, Rancho Las Raíces, this añejo is distilled from overripe highland agave and aged for 12 months in seasoned French oak casks that once held Ferrand Cognac. It is bottled at 88.8 proof (44.4% ABV), so it keeps the full character of the agave while picking up the refinement of the cognac barrels.
The aroma offers dried cherry, ground cinnamon and burnt cajeta, with notes of celery, cilantro and green guava. On the palate it is smooth and expressive, balancing sweet fruit and warm spice with fresh herbal agave and a hint of wet earth. The finish is elegant and lingering.
A true single field expression that captures both the purity of Tequila Ocho and the heritage of Ferrand Cognac. Enjoy neat in a snifter to open up the flavors.

About the brand
Tequila Ocho is a joint creation between legendary Maestro Tequilero Carlos Camarena and spirits visionary Tomas Estes. Pioneering the concept of single-estate (terroir) tequila, Tequila Ocho harvests agave only from individual fields ("ranchos") at full maturity, ensuring every single release reflects the distinct climate, soil, and vintage of its origin. Crafted at Destilería La Alteña using traditional slow-cooking, tahona extraction, open-air fermentation, and copper pot stills, Tequila Ocho is globally recognized for producing 100% additive-free, authentic craft tequilas.
