Blanton’s
Blanton’s is produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, and is credited with creating the world’s first single barrel bourbon in 1984. Named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton, a longtime distillery president, it set a new standard for premium bourbon by bottling whiskey from carefully chosen individual barrels rather than blending. Each barrel is aged in Warehouse H, a metal-clad rickhouse that allows for greater temperature variation, resulting in a richer, more complex maturation.
