About the product

Lagavulin 11 Year Old Offerman Edition delivers bold, smoky character matured in charred oak casks. This exclusive collaboration brings rich peaty notes with subtle sweetness and a warming finish. Each bundle contains six 750ml bottles, perfect for sharing or stocking your collection. Ideal for whisky enthusiasts who appreciate full-bodied, complex spirits with authentic Islay character.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairings

On the nose, the whisky opens with Lagavulin’s signature peat smoke met by touches of red berries, salted brine, and soft vanilla. The palate delivers intense peat-driven warmth with cocoa, dark chocolate, toasted oak, and a subtle sweetness reminiscent of crème brûlée. Mid-palate notes of berry and sea-spray freshness mingle with warming baking spices, leading into a long, peppery finish layered with smoke and charred oak tannin.

This expression was designed with steak in mind—especially medium-rare cuts—where its briny smoke and rich sweetness accentuate seared flavors perfectly. It also pairs beautifully with aged cheddar, gouda, or blue cheese, and stands up nicely to dark chocolate or savory smoked meats.

About the brand

Lagavulin Distillery is one of the "big three" peated whisky powerhouses on the south coast of Islay. Founded in 1816, it is known for its slow distillation and heavy, medicinal smoke profile. The Offerman Edition series is a personal project where Nick Offerman works directly with the distillery to create expressions that reflect his own passions—in this case, his love for woodworking and a perfectly grilled steak.
