Stagg (formerly Stagg Jr.): This brand is a tribute to George T. Stagg, one of the most legendary figures in bourbon history and a former owner of the distillery now known as Buffalo Trace. The "25D" Evolution: Starting with Batch 18, Buffalo Trace dropped the "Jr." from the label. The coding system (25D) indicates this was the fourth batch released in 2025.
