Unlike the annual Midleton Very Rare vintage releases, Barry Crockett Legacy is a permanent release focused entirely on showcasing the elegance, complexity, and creamy texture of traditional Single Pot Still Irish whiskey.
Crafted from a mash bill of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills, the whiskey is matured primarily in American bourbon barrels with a small contribution from virgin American oak casks. This maturation approach creates exceptional balance between creamy vanilla sweetness, fresh orchard fruit, citrus brightness, toasted oak, and refined spice. The whiskey is bottled at 46% ABV, non-age statement, and includes mature stock reportedly aged up to 18 years. It is widely regarded by collectors and enthusiasts as one of the finest modern Irish whiskeys available.
