A first of its kind from Heaven Hill Distillery, this innovative Bottled in Bond bourbon unites two distinct mashbills in one exceptional expression. Two thirds traditional bourbon (78% corn, 10% rye, 12% malted barley) meet one third wheated bourbon (68% corn, 20% wheat, 12% malted barley), both aged a full nine years and bottled at 100 proof under the strict standards of the Bottled in Bond Act.
It pours a warm amber color. The nose offers toasted oak, honey and a hint of white pepper. On the palate it is bright and rich, with notes of honey and citrus oil leading into a finish of rich caramel and baking spices.
The result is a harmonious balance of structure from the rye and soft roundness from the wheat, delivering depth, complexity and true Bottled in Bond quality in every sip. A distinctive addition to Heaven Hill’s celebrated lineup.
