About the product
A rich and subtly spiced addition to Glenmorangie’s core range, this Highland single malt is created by marrying three carefully chosen cask types. Bourbon casks deliver classic fruity sweetness, new charred oak brings fuller, richer notes, and rye whiskey casks (rarely used in Scotch) contribute savoury spice and depth.
Bottled at 40% ABV, the colour is a warm paprika gold. The nose is luscious and tropical, offering pears, vanilla, candied orange peel, honeysuckle and grapefruit, with gentle spices of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. On the palate the mouthfeel is creamy and viscous, revealing crème brûlée, cherry chocolate, fudge, tangy orange sherbet, clove, sweet chilli and tropical fruits, followed by maple syrup, almond marzipan and subtle oak spice. The finish is rich, sweet and lingering with a pleasant chewy texture.
Inspired by the natural splendour of the Highlands, Glenmorangie Triple Cask Reserve offers a harmonious balance of fruit, creaminess and subtle spice. Ideal neat, on ice or in cocktails.
