About the product

Bold, luxurious, and masterfully aged, Dos Artes Extra Añejo Reserva Especial marks the highly anticipated return of one of the brand’s most celebrated expressions. After four years off the market, this extraordinary Extra Añejo returns stronger than ever—aged for a minimum of three years in new French and American oak barrels owned exclusively by Dos Artes. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in an impressive 1 liter ceramic decanter, this release sets a new benchmark for ultra-premium tequila.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairings

  • Taste Notes: Exceptionally smooth and dessert-like. The nose is rich with aromas of cooked agave, toasted oak, and heavy vanilla. On the palate, expect luxurious layers of butterscotch, dark chocolate, and roasted hazelnuts, with a subtle hint of dried fruit. The finish is incredibly long, velvety, and sweet with no "alcohol burn."
  • Food Pairings: * Entrée: Mole Poblano or slow-roasted carnitas (the sweetness of the tequila complements the earthy spices).Dessert: Churros with chocolate dipping sauce, flan, or a high-quality cigar.Cheese: Aged Manchego or a creamy Gorgonzola.

About the brand

The Art of Tequila: Dos Artes is a boutique brand dedicated to honoring two of Mexico's greatest traditions: the crafting of ultra-premium tequila and the artistry of hand-painted ceramics. The brand is produced at Distileria Morales (NOM 1517) in Jalisco, Mexico.

The "Reserva Especial" Legacy: This Extra Añejo represents the pinnacle of the Dos Artes lineup. It is crafted using 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave that is slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens (hornos). Unlike mass-produced spirits, Dos Artes focuses on long-term aging and small-batch consistency.

The Decanter: Every bottle is a 1-liter, hand-painted ceramic masterpiece. Each decanter takes hours for local artisans to paint, making every bottle a unique piece of collectible art.
