About the product
A true Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon from Buffalo Trace, Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel is hand selected from individual barrels and bottled at 100 proof. Many of these barrels mature in historic Warehouse C, constructed by Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. himself in 1881.
The nose opens with creamy vanilla, butterscotch and sweet oak, joined by notes of cherry, apple and gentle spice. On the palate it delivers rich caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit and warm baking spice, balanced by mature oak and a touch of leather. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering tobacco, oak and soft rye spice.
Crafted to honor one of the founding fathers of the modern bourbon industry, this single barrel expression offers depth, balance and classic Kentucky character in every pour.
