Blanton’s Original Single Barrel

Blanton’s Gold Edition

About the brand
Introduced in 1984 by Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee, Blanton’s was the world's first modern commercial single-barrel bourbon. It is named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton, who famously hand-picked "honey barrels" from Warehouse H to share with his private guests. Warehouse H is unique because it is the only metal-clad warehouse at Buffalo Trace; the metal conducts heat faster than brick, causing the whiskey to move in and out of the wood more aggressively, which creates a bolder, faster-aging profile.
