About the brand

Founded in 1993 by Theodore "Ted" Manousakis, the winery was born out of Nostos—the Greek yearning to return to one's homeland. Today, the estate is led by his daughter, Alexandra Manousakis, and her husband, Afshin Molavi. In 2026, they are celebrated as pioneers of organic farming in Crete. While they initially gained fame for Rhone-style varietals, the "Mrs." blend showcases their commitment to Romeiko, a legendary local grape that is notoriously difficult to tame but offers an unmistakable Cretan "soul" when blended with the structure of Syrah.
