About the product

This premium bourbon bundle brings together two iconic American whiskeys in one exceptional collection. Each 750ml bottle delivers rich, complex flavors perfect for whiskey enthusiasts and collectors alike. The Stagg offers bold character with deep notes of oak and spice, while Buffalo Trace provides smooth, approachable complexity. Ideal for gifting, tasting, or building your home bar with distinguished spirits that represent the finest bourbon craftsmanship.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairings

Stagg (Formerly Stagg Jr.)

Tasting Notes: A massive "chocolate candy bomb." The nose is heavy with brown sugar, dark cherry, and molasses. The palate is dense and rich with caramelized sugar, baking spices, and leather, finishing with a bold wave of charred oak and peppered heat.

Food Pairing: Smoked Brisket with a Coffee Rub. The high proof and dark chocolate notes of the Stagg are the only thing powerful enough to match the intensity of smoked, fatty beef.

Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Tasting Notes: Smooth and balanced. It features rich vanilla, mint, and molasses on the nose, with a palate of sweet corn, toffee, and cinnamon. It is the ultimate "textbook" Kentucky bourbon.

Food Pairing: Classic Pecan Pie. The nutty, sugary sweetness of the pie enhances the vanilla and toffee notes in the whiskey without overwhelming them.

About the brand

Both expressions use Buffalo Trace Mash Bill #1, a low-rye recipe they share with Eagle Rare and E.H. Taylor. The difference lies entirely in the maturation and proofing: Buffalo Trace is diluted to 90 proof for smoothness, while Stagg is left at its raw, fiery barrel strength to showcase the full impact of the wood.
