About the brand
Kilkerran is the brand name for the single malt produced at the Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown. Reopened in 2004 by the owners of Springbank, it is one of the few distilleries where 100% of the production process—from floor malting to bottling—is handled in-house. The Heavily Peated (or "Peat in Progress") series is a high-demand, cask-strength release that showcases a much smokier side of the distillery compared to its standard 12-year-old expression.
