  • Nose: Light caramel, sweet vanilla, and a touch of leather.
  • Palate: Rich and "snappy." Flavors of candy corn, honey nougat, and sweet cornbread biscuits.

About the brand

Founded in 2006 by David Perkins, High West was the first legal distillery in Utah since 1870. It successfully resurrected a distilling history that had been dormant for over a century in the Beehive State. High West rose to fame not just for distilling, but for their radical transparency and mastery of whiskey blending. They were among the first "craft" distillers to openly credit their sourced partners (like MGP in Indiana) while showcasing how blending different ages and mash bills creates a "symphonic" final product.
