The Macallan TIME : SPACE Sherry Cask is a 20-year-old single malt Scotch whisky and the third chapter in The Macallan’s TIME : SPACE Collection. Released in 2026, this exceptional expression represents a new milestone in The Macallan’s long-standing relationship with sherry-seasoned oak. The whisky was matured predominantly in European oak sherry-seasoned casks at The Macallan Estate in Speyside before being married in a selection of the first 200 casks seasoned with The Macallan’s own Valdespino sherry in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Bottled at 44.8% ABV with natural colour, it delivers a rich and layered character with dried fruits, dark chocolate, ginger cake, treacle toffee, warming spices and gentle oak. Presented in the distinctive circular TIME : SPACE vessel, this limited 2026 release is designed for both whisky collectors and enthusiasts seeking a highly distinctive expression from The Macallan.

Taste Notes:

Rich and complex, with sherry-soaked raisins, figs and Medjool dates on the nose, accompanied by dark chocolate truffles, sweet frangipane, cinder toffee, caramelised nuts and warming spices. The palate brings dried fruits, rich ginger cake, treacle toffee, bramble jam and chocolate-coated cherries, followed by wood spices and espresso. The finish is long and warming, with gentle oak, espresso and lingering spice.
