About The Product
Patrón Estate Release Silver Tequila is a testament to the meticulous, handcrafted approach of Patrón Tequila, with this specific expression distinguishing itself by being produced entirely from agave grown on Patróns own hacienda estates in Jalisco, Mexico. This ensures complete control over the agave from planting to harvest. The process begins with mature, 100% Blue Weber Agave piñas, which are slowly baked in small brick ovens for several days, a traditional method that gently coaxes out the rich, sweet agave flavors. Following baking, the piñas are crushed using both a large volcanic stone wheel (tahona) and a roller mill, extracting the agave juice. This juice then undergoes fermentation in small wooden vats for several days. After fermentation, the mosto is double distilled in small, handmade copper pot stills. This small-batch distillation process allows for precise control over the spirits purity and character. As a "Silver" or "Blanco" tequila, it is unaged, bottled immediately after distillation to preserve the fresh, crisp, and vibrant flavors of the pure agave, along with its characteristic citrus, herbaceous, and peppery notes. The Estate Release highlights the unique terroir of Patróns own agave fields and their commitment to traditional methods.
