About the brand

JaJa (pronounced "Ha-Ha") was founded in 2018 by entrepreneurs Maurice Tebele, Martin Hoffstein, and Elliot Tebele (the creator of the popular Instagram account @fuckjerry), alongside co-owners The Chainsmokers. The brand was built for the "digital generation," moving away from the serious, heritage-heavy marketing of traditional tequilas to focus on fun, inclusivity, and sustainability. Despite its playful "anti-celebrity" branding, the spirit inside is high-quality and has won numerous awards, including a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
