Jura Seven Wood is a highly complex single malt Scotch whisky produced on the remote Isle of Jura, located just off Scotland’s west coast. This innovative expression is matured in seven distinct types of oak casks: American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and six different French oak casks, including Limousin, Tronçais, Allier, Vosges, Jupilles, and Les Bertranges. Each cask imparts unique characteristics to the whisky during maturation, resulting in a multi-dimensional spirit shaped by a blend of forest terroirs. Crafted at the Jura Distillery, which uses tall stills and a lightly peated spirit base, the whisky is carefully vatted to create balance and complexity without chill-filtration.
