About the product

This bundle contains six bottles of Siete Leguas Blanco Tequila, each 700ml. Siete Leguas Blanco is an additive-free, unaged tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco. Produced using a combination of traditional tahona stone crushing and roller mill extraction, then double-distilled in copper pot stills, it is considered one of the benchmark traditional blanco tequilas, showcasing the pure character of cooked agave and Highland terroir.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairings

Taste Notes:

The aroma presents cooked agave, green grass, spearmint, mint, citrus zest, orange blossom, grapefruit, lime, pineapple, pear, clove, and cinnamon. On the palate, sweet cooked agave is supported by herbal notes, citrus, fresh mint, earthy minerality, white pepper, and subtle spice. The finish is long and persistent with lingering agave sweetness, fruit, pepper, and light notes of vanilla and caramel.

Food Pairings:

Siete Leguas Blanco pairs exceptionally well with ceviche, grilled shrimp, fish tacos, oysters, citrus-marinated seafood, grilled chicken, fresh guacamole, roasted vegetables, and traditional Mexican dishes. Its bright agave and citrus profile also make it an excellent companion to spicy foods and fresh salsas.

About the brand

Founded in 1952, Siete Leguas is one of Mexico's most respected tequila producers. The distillery, NOM 1120, is located in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco. The brand is highly regarded among tequila enthusiasts for maintaining traditional production methods, including tahona milling, estate-grown agave, natural fermentation, and additive-free production. Siete Leguas was also the original producer of the early Patrón tequila before focusing exclusively on its own brand. Community reviews frequently praise the brand for its authenticity, agave-forward character, and traditional craftsmanship.
