About the product

Often sold as a "party pack" or a "tasting flight," this 10-pack of miniatures is a popular choice for event favors, stocking stuffers, or for those who want to enjoy a premium Cognac experience in controlled, portable portions. While Rémy Martin offers several expressions, this 10-pack most commonly features their flagship VSOP, though premium 1738 Accord Royal or XO miniature sets are also released during the holiday season.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairings

Tasting Notes (VSOP Expression)

  • Nose: Dominant notes of vanilla (from the Limousin oak barrels), followed by ripe apricot, baked apple, and a hint of elegant white flowers.
  • Palate: A perfect harmony of dried fruits and liquorice. It is silky and well-balanced, showing the maturity of aged eaux-de-vie.
  • Finish: Medium-long and structured, with a final burst of baking spices and toasted oak.

Food Pairings

  • Savory: Blue Cheese Bites or Duck Pâté. The richness of the Cognac cuts through the salt and fat, while the floral notes highlight the creaminess of the cheese.
  • Sweet: Vanilla Macarons or Apricot Tarts. These mirror the natural vanilla and stone fruit aromas found in the VSOP blend.
  • The "Quick" Serve: Rémy Ginger. These 50ml miniatures are the perfect size for a single serving of the brand's signature cocktail: pour one bottle over ice, top with ginger ale, and add a lime wedge.

About the brand

Since 1724, Rémy Martin has been the only major Cognac house to specialize exclusively in Cognac Fine Champagne. This legal designation means the blend is made only from the two highest-quality crus: Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. The Centaur (Sagittarius) was chosen by Paul-Émile Rémy Martin in 1870 to symbolize the union of man and nature—representing the craftsmanship of the cellar master and the terroir of the French soil.
