The GlenAllachie 21-Year-Old Batch 5 is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky, meticulously crafted by Master Distiller Billy Walker. This limited-edition release is matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads, resulting in a rich auburn hue. Bottled at cask strength of 49.2% ABV, it offers an unadulterated tasting experience. On the nose, it presents brandied honeycomb, molasses tart, and spiced blood orange, with hints of cocoa, black truffle, and caramelized brown sugar. The palate reveals rich chocolate, warm baking spices, clementine zest, molasses, orchard fruits, and crystallized ginger, culminating in a finish of black cherries and raisin butter. This expression is non-chill filtered and free from added coloring, preserving its natural character.
